SUPRAMAGNETISM
MY WORK
My research work focuses on rational design and synthesis of metallosupramolecular assemblies based on 3d transition metals and investigation of Spin Crossover and other photo and thermo-induced properties in those systems. The choice of Multinuclear systems gives a chance explore their applicability as interesting switching materials as they show multistep switching, strong correlation between metal centers and hysteresis. A brief information about the objectives of my research is given below,
-
Synthesis of Fe2+ based metallosupramolecular [2x2] grids and their photo(physical) characterization.
-
Synthesis of dinuclear triple helicates based on 3d transition metals for multifunctional applications.
-
Introducing chirality in metallosupramolecular architectures and study the effect on magnetism.
-
Synthesis of mechanically interlocked catenanes and their thorough characterization.
